About

Meet Lisa Gohmann
I’m passionate about helping individuals address unresolved complex (developmental, relational, and attachment) trauma as well as gaining clarity about how unresolved trauma has impacted you and your life. We have all had some level of trauma in our lives, even though we may not realize it.
Whether the trauma you’ve experienced is profound or more subtle, I will explore together with you how it has contributed to your view of yourself and hence, also impacts your relationships with others. My desire is to support you in healing around past trauma and becoming the most authentic version of yourself—who you were uniquely designed by God, to be.
I have been in practice for over 20 years and have worked mostly with women who either experienced betrayal trauma or have been the one who has betrayed a loved one. I have had my own personal journey through the 12-steps and it is a community that is still near and dear to my heart.
I am a NARM Certified Therapist (NeuroAffective Relational Model of treating complex and developmental trauma) and trained as a CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and a CPTT (Certified Partner Trauma Therapist). I’m also trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. While all of my trainings have been helpful in my work with clients, NARM is my preferred modality.

The challenges you are facing may be contributing to a negative sense of self, relationship struggles, or other difficulties in your life. We all have had some degree of trauma in our lives, but we may not realize it. Trauma comes in many shapes and sizes, and it may not be what you think. I believe that all of us, with the right support, possess the ability to overcome trauma’s impact. My passion is to help my clients experience themselves, their relationships, and their lives in a more authentic and satisfying way.
Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do
